Pabrik Gula is directed by Awi Suryadi, who helmed the highest-grossing Indonesian movie of all time, KKN di Desa Penari.
Pabrik Gula could have its theatrical launch in Indonesia on Eid al-Fitr in end-March, and is about to hit theaters throughout North America, together with IMAX screens, in April 2025.
