NEW DELHI: Ten cops have been killed in an assault on a test submit close to the Afghan border on Friday. The Pakistan Taliban claimed duty for the assault.
AFP quoted an unnamed senior intelligence officer who mentioned, ‘The extraordinary trade of fireside lasted for almost an hour. Ten Frontier Constabulary personnel have been martyred, and 7 have been wounded in the course of the assault.'”
The assault occurred within the Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.About 20 to 25 militants focused the Frontier Constabulary submit, a police help power.
The Pakistan Taliban, also called Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), claimed the assault in an announcement to AFP.
There was a rise in militant exercise in Pakistan for the reason that Afghan Taliban took energy in 2021, with assaults primarily aimed toward safety forces. Police within the area are incessantly focused by militants.
